Spiritual, Self-Help and Inspirational Books

Caroline Myss Books

Caroline Myss did research on medical intuition covering the fields such as human consciousness, energy healing, mysticism etc. In 1996, she released the compilation of her research in the form of the book 'The Anatomy of a Spirit", which became a New York Times bestseller and was translated into several languages. She coined word 'woundology' to represent a condition where people use their diseases to manipulate the course of their lives. This word now is fully accepted as a medial term and psychology accepts woundology as a medical symptom. Based on the same principle, she wrote a book later: 'Why people don't heal and how they can'. This became her second New York Times bestseller.

Caroline Myss established an educational institution CMED (Carolline Myss Education) to teach the concepts, which draws students from various contries across the world.

Here minsobooks presents a glimpse of some of her famous books.

Anatomy of the Spirit: The Seven Stages of Power and Healing

In this book, Caroline Myss elaborates on variouos stages of healing and relates them to established faith systems such as Hindu chakras, the Christian sacraments, and the Kabbalah's Tree of Life. She draws the relationship between emotional stresess, our belief system and attitudes to our physical condition and how illnesses are formed and how to handle. This book Anatomy of the spirit provides a great insight into the mechanism of spirt, mind and matter and allows us to understand without the bounds of religion.

Sacred Contracts: Awakening Your Divine Potential

Every one of us face a feeling of being lost in life at some point of time, not knowing the purpose of our lives and not knowing what to do. In this book, Sacret Contracts, Caroline Myss provides a model to understand our higher purpose (the sacred contract). She details her process taking examples of great lives such as Buddha and Jesus. Her process utilizes a new theory of archetypes based on the works of Jung, Plato and other thinkers.

A very engaging and insightful book. Not every one might be in agreement with her theory, despite of that, this book is a great tool to explore one's life's purpose.

Why People Don't Heal and How They Can

Human consitions are a result of spiritual consciousness. Based on her research, Caroline Myss coined a new word 'woundalogy' to represent a situation, where people use disease to manipulate their life situations. This word as well as the medical condition is widely accepted now in the field of medicine and psychology. This book 'Why people don't heal' explains the obstructions for healing and what to do about it.

You can get a holistic perspective about spirituality and healing along with practial insights from this book.

Defy Gravity: Healing Beyond the Bounds of Reason

Caroline Myss explains the concepts of healing and how we can heal for any situation. A complete healing is possible only when we realize the co-relation between spirituality and the physical world.

Defying gravity refers to going beyond the reason in terms of healing, which Caroline Myss describes as a mystical experience.
